MUNDI was established by a group of local teachers in 1986. In those days, our main project was a mobile resource library that would come into schools to support teaching lessons. In fact, that’s what our name stands for: Mobile Unit for Nottingham Development Issues.
In January 1989 we were officially set up as a charity, and in September 2007 MUNDI became a charitable trust. It has been a long journey and we feel proud of what we have achieved so far and the recognition given by our service users and project partners.
Our current team of dedicated professionals has a wealth of experience in formal and non-formal education, particularly in terms of training delivery, curriculum development, and project management.
Most of our work can be described as a combination of awareness raising and capacity building activities which are carried out as part of government-funded projects in schools or continuing professional development (CPD) for teachers. Enhancing teaching practice and making learning relevant to the challenges of the 21st century is what drives MUNDI!
Our friendly and professional approach is reflected in our long-standing relationship with a wide range of service users, including staff at schools, colleges, universities, and youth organisations. We want you to be part of our network!
